Appi has only recently started making a name for itself as one of Japan’s premier ski destinations.
The resort is home to 41 kilometres worth of runs, 828 metres of vertical rise and access to plenty of steep and deep off piste. This resort’s point of difference is the length of its runs, including one cruiser measuring 5500 metres in length. It’s located in the Towada-Hachimantai National Park in northeast Honshu, approximately 200 minutes travel from Tokyo.
