Team Flake has officially launched its ‘flakin good snow package’ competition!

Up for grabs is a choice of either a set of Armada AR6 skis, or a Stepchild Snowboard (thanks Rhythm Snowsports Japan), plus an outerwear package from The Northface, as well as two Merino T’s from Mons Royale.

This package is worth approximately $1,800 AUD, and will go to one lucky winner. To enter, entrants need to check out two Daily Flake reports, and then fill out our competition form, telling us what they liked about the two reports.

From tomorrow, Monday the 8th February, The Daily Flake will be reporting from Honshu, the main island of Japan. The team will travel between the resorts of Shiga Kogen and Nozawa Onsen, getting a taste of the resort’s culture, lifestyle and nightlife. During the trip, the team will be joined by professional Australian skiers Tim Myers and Davina Williams so viewers can expect to see some rippping skiing action, as well as getting the low down on the latest snow conditions. Make sure you watch the Tour de Flake, from February 8 – 14.

Today, The Daily Flake team travelled to Moiwa, which is a resort in Niseko! Check it all out in today’s report!

Today, the Daily Flake team checked our Furano, which is a resort located at the centre of Hokkaido. This resort is one of the most respected ski areas in the whole of Japan, and with an average seasonal snowfall of over 8 metres, it’s a must do destination for people travelling to Japan!
